What Did I Expect?

I'm a Henrie....I married a Todd....

Henrie + Todd = BOYS!  Duh!  What did I expect?

No question about it, Teryn will be getting a LITTLE BROTHER in February!

This morning Tyson asked Teryn if a brother or sister was on the way and he swore Teryn said brother.  At least someone knew what they were talking about =0)

The ultrasound was really funny because it was so opposite from Teryn's 20 week ultrasound!  Teryn was SO obstinate and it took a lot of coaxing to get him in a position that allowed us to find out his gender.  We spent at least 20-30 minutes with the ultrasonographer trying to get him to cooperate and even then, we never could get a 4D picture of his face- -he kept himself well hidden. But not this little man.  We were in and out of the ultrasound in less than 5 minutes.  We could tell his gender almost as soon as we started the ultrasound and he stared straight at us so we got a peek of his face too!  The doc will try for a 4D picture at our next appointment and if the little guy is as photogenic as he was today we'll get a good shot for sure.  No numbers or measurements to report on- -just the reassurance that he's strong and well and everything looks great!

It was almost laughable to see the change in Tyson's disposition before and after the ultrasound.  Since today was my first appointment with my new doctor at a new hospital, we made sure to arrive early enough to complete any needed paperwork.  Well, we arrived plenty early and had quite the wait before seeing the doc so Tyson was ready to go home before we even started.  But after leaving the hospital, he was so excited to know he's got another boy on the way!  He definitely has an added skip in his step =0)
And of course I'm excited too!  Regardless of how those Asians got my hopes up =0)  Another boy will be so much fun!  I'm especially excited to see how different he is from Teryn.  His looks, personality, attitude, tendencies, etc.  Teryn looks like me and acts like Tyson.....will this one look like Tyson and act like me?  Oh, the things to imagine......
One thing we do know though, his name will be Ryder Jaxon.  I've loved the name Ryder for a really long time and I can't wait to use it.  We chose the name Jaxon for a particular reason too, we're just waiting to see if anyone catches on before spilling the beans ;)

So there you have it.  No more secrets!  The wait begins for another Todd boy to come into our home!

Turn your head to the right.   It's his face and you can see his eye!

After they took that last picture he pulled his arm over his face.

**Not-so-fun-but-noteworthy-news**  My phone died last night.  Nice.  Luckily we had a replacement phone already so I could just go to verizon.com and activate it, right?  Wrong!  I activated the new phone but my old phone and new phone are unable to connect to each other because I'm not in a digital area.  Nice, again.  So until I can access my old phone information in a digital area, all my contacts are lost.  Perfect day for that to happen, right?  Sorry to those of you who were expecting a personal text with the news!  And sorry to those of you who've texted me and I've had to ask who the heck you are!  Now you understand why!  (Maybe those of you who text me from now on can include your name in your message to avoid all awkwardness =0)
