New Years

Our new years festivities weren't the most exciting or outrageous but they sure were enjoyable.  A few days before the new year a handful of our old friends went to the cabin but Tyson had to work so he wasn't able to come until our second night there.  We mostly overindulged in yummy food, played games, watched movies, reminisced about old times, and those of us who aren't pregnant enjoyed the hot tub.  New years eve day we left the cabin and stopped in Vernal at Dennis and Michelle's to watch the U of U play their bowl game.  They won in overtime and it was really fun to watch!  When the game was over we made our way to Roosevelt to spend the night with Greg and Betty.  After losing so much sleep at the cabin I didn't think I would make it to midnight but Greg and I stayed up watching a Coldplay concert and it was the first new years I've been awake to experience since 2007!  Greg was great company since Tyson fell asleep =0)  It was a lot of fun!

The next morning our church schedule changed to 9:00 am so we were out of there as soon as we woke.  I'm really excited for the new time because it means we can all go to church as a family!  11:00 and 1:00 meetings are difficult with a child who needs a nap but refuses to sleep anywhere but his crib.  For the past year Tyson and I have been taking turns each week staying home while he sleeps so it will be a wonderful change to get to church and back home before noon!

Here's to an awesome 2012!  Cheers!
