Tyson and I left Teryn with Grandmas Henrie and Stevens and took a trip back to Logan for Tyson's birthday weekend. While we were there we thought we'd snap a picture of the homes we had while in Logan.
Tyson lived in the basement of this house for the 2008-2009 school year with his friends Rhett, Jason, and Jeremiah. I spent a lot of time at that place while we dated, beginning in September 2008.

We got engaged the day after Thanksgiving 2008 and I moved into this 4-plex after Christmas Break. I started two jobs in January 2009 and lived alone until Tyson moved in when we got married in March. The single window on the left was our bedroom and the 3-paned window to the right of that was our
living/kitchen/dining area.

Despite incredibly low rent, we couldn't take the small space of our 2 room (not 2 bedroom- -2 room.) apartment very long. Additionally, no contract meant no obligation, so we found the next place and moved in at the beginning of May 2009. The left basement apartment was ours. We LOVED it!! You probably wouldn't even have to twist our arms to move back =0)

After Teryn was born and I quit working we were hired to be on-site managers of Cobble Creek Apartments. We moved in at the end of June 2010. Our apartment was in the corner, second to the end of the left building.

And we left our Logan Legacy on August 13, 2011! Logan will always hold a special place in my heart. It was my first home as a wife and mother. I'll never stay away for long.
Oh, and one more house! I'm going to miss driving past the Logan Temple and seeing it from every angle in Cache Valley! Beautiful. (Not a bad picture for snapping the shot while we drove by, eh?
Now on a birthday note, we spent our first night, Friday September 2nd, in Logan at our friends Mark and Penny Beutler's home. Penny was so sweet to make Tyson a birthday breakfast! Puffy pancakes (divine!), bacon, fruit, and milk. YUM! And look at the awesome decorations! Thank you for your hospitality!! And for buying milk just for us =0) We miss you guys!
We spent our second night at the Holiday Inn. Really nice hotel- -loved it. We just spent the weekend enjoying each other, eating good food, shopping, and watching movies and college football. Thanks Grandmas Henrie and Stevens for taking care of Teryn! It was much needed time away and alone.
We returned home the afternoon of Sunday the 4th. The Greg Todd clan came to our house that evening and brought a card and this delicious homemade cake for Tyson. Thanks guys!

I'd say my husband is one spoiled man. But then again, I know he deserves it.
Happy birthday babe!
