Another Week

The best part about this week was the SUN!!!  (We won't talk about the snow that appeared this morning.)  The sun actually came out long enough to enjoy some time out of the house!!!  Friday afternoon, Tyson took Teryn along with him to do some work out on the property.  Teryn just sat content on the grass, watching every move dad made.  It freed up my hands to get some other things done, which was wonderful.

That evening we drove to Draper for my mission reunion.  President and Sister Perriton look and sound as great as ever.  After they returned last July, they joined reunions with President and Sister Nemrow in October, so this was the Perritons' first 'solo' reunion.  A few of us pulled off a last-minute special musical number- -barely.  Elder Choi of the 70 came with his wife Sister Ku and it was wonderful to hear from them as well.  My age sunk in when I saw so many unfamiliar faces of younger missionaries.  I couldn't tell the difference between returned Taejeon missionaries and their spouses.  Even so, it was refreshing to see many familiar old friends and their growing families.  I love my mission family.

We enjoyed General Conference here in Logan. Tyson's family went to the Conference Center but we didn't feel we could pawn Teryn off on someone else just so we could go, so we stayed home.  It was an incredible conference.  Many of our prayers were no doubt answered.  We finally feel like we're getting a handle on our post-grad life.  More to come on that soon.  I hope.
