We had quite a memorable Thanksgiving this year. The only day I got off work was the day of Thanksgiving, so we figured it wasn't worth driving all the way home and all the way back in one day just to spend the holiday with our families. So we decided to stay home and go the whole nine yards on our own =0) Didn't do too shabby, either! Homemade rolls, real mashed potatoes, stuffing, pineapple/brown sugar glazed ham, beans, and even pumpkin pie with real whipped cream! MMM! Everything turned out surprisingly well! I think I put the final stamp of approval on Tyson's choice to marry me for eternity =0) It was a lot of fun and we enjoyed the peace and relaxation of the day. It will be our last Thanksgiving alone for a long time =0)
Top 5 things I'm grateful for:
1) My amazing husband. Not a day goes by that he doesn't make me smile! He gives me something to live for. Scratch that--he gives me EVERYTHING to live for.
2) Our baby. Counting down the days.....
3) Our families. Todds, Henries, Stevens. Every one of them.
4) The ability to keep our heads above water in this economy. We are so blessed!
5) The Gospel of Jesus Christ. I would be nothing without it.
