Just Pretend...

Just pretend this post was posted last Sunday.  As in November 13th, last Sunday.  I had intentions to sit down and write that day but that obviously never happened.

Teryn turned 20 months on the 13th!  I don't know when I posted last about a month-birthday, all I know is it's long overdue!  Before I know it, he'll be two!  It's amazing how much he grows and learns and changes every month.

Although his head just gets stronger and his whining gets louder, I love this stage.  He is hilarious!  He's figuring out how to jump off things.  We have a small board book tote that stands about three inches off the floor and he loves to stand on it, crouch down (to gain greater momentum?), and then jump off.  Although, it's not yet a full-on jump, it's more of an exaggerated step.  So funny.  Tyson has also taught him how to fake sleep.  He'll lay his head down and breath in and out with a "sshhhhhh".  Hilarious.  He jabbers a lot lately which is very entertaining.  95% of what he says isn't understandable but it's fun to listen to.  He talks into anything that resembles a phone and lately he's started laughing as if there's someone on the other line telling him a joke.  Too funny.  He's decided he loves to try on and walk in any shoes he can find.  Even Tyson's shoes!  (Size 14!)  He gets around in them surprisingly well.  He's caught on to blowing his nose, although he doesn't really blow his nose, he just spits into a tissue to make it sound like he did.  He loves to help us build fires in the fireplace.  He especially loves crumpling up the paper and blowing on the embers to get them going.  He has given "kisses" for quite some time but lately he loves to give "squeeze" hugs.  He just grabs on and squeezes tight when we ask for hugs.  Love it.  He doesn't mind so much when I hold his hands to walk which is a big change.  He's also learned to eat with a spoon quite well.  And he L.O.V.E.S Toy Story 3!  Not just Toy Story in general, Toy Story 3!  I've even tested him with all three choices and he chooses 3 every time!  And when I play it, he will sit and watch it from beginning to end EVERY time!  It's quite amazing actually.  Anything else I try to interest him in only keeps his attention for 5 or 10, maybe 15 minutes, but he would watch Toy Story 3 every day, all day if I'd let him.  It's amazing to watch him react with the characters too.  I wish I knew what his little mind was thinking!

Now for some pictures.  He is getting back into his photogenic mode so picture-taking is fun again.

Here he is sporting (someone's?) shoes.

And again...straight out of the bathtub and into some shoes....

And again.....

OK, this picture need some 'splaining.....

I did laundry a few days ago and when Tyson got home from work we went upstairs to make our bed and put everything away.  Teryn discovered my underwear drawer and started pulling things out one-at-a-time and taking them out of our room.  He wasn't hurting anything so I let him continue without a clue of what he was doing.  Well, when we finished putting everything away, we came downstairs to this:

He was taking everything one-by-one to the stairs and throwing it to the floor below!  Don't ask me why?  But he sure enjoyed himself!  Ha ha!

So that's all for that little munchkin.  As for the growing munchkin, he is as active as ever.  I really can't say that enough!  Seriously, my belly is doing things that it didn't do until I was at least 8 months pregnant with Teryn and I'm barely at 6 months!  It tosses and turns and pokes and waves and jiggles and jumps and on and on and on.  It's pretty crazy and still mostly surreal, actually.  I'll be the momma of another little boy in just 3 months!  Rock on.

We got our 3D ultrasound yesterday and he cooperated just enough to give us a slight idea of what he looks like.

Here's his face, all cozied up to my placenta.  He has cute lips, huh? =0)

His left hand, also cozied up to my placenta.

His left foot.

Aaaaanndd......that was enough of that, he said.  He pulled his arm over his face and hid from us.  That's exactly what Teryn did when we attempted 3D pictures of him.  Kinda funny.

And just because I know you're all wondering how huge I am....

So there you have it!  My 20 month munchkin and my 27 week munchkin.  Only 13 weeks to go before they get to meet each other =0)
