Big Fat First

Anyone remember our couch?

Today it was replaced with this.

For the (2 year) duration of our marriage our house has been composed entirely of hand-me-down furniture. 

Kitchen table: handed down by my brother Brandon
(handed down to him by my parents).

Entertainment center: handed down by my brother Ty
(handed down to him by my brother Teryn)

Teryn's crib: handed down by Tyson's uncle Doug.

etc. etc. etc.  

Our couch was handed down by my parents (handed down to them by my paternal grandparents) and it has treated us well.  No other couch competes with it's comfort, that's for sure.  I've spent many nights sleeping alone because Tyson retreats to the couch when he can't sleep in our bed. 

It's just old and worn out enough that we thought it was time for something new and we found this couch for a steal that we couldn't pass up.  

So into storage the old couch goes.  The new one will take some time to break in but we are one-hundred-percent pleased with our first furniture purchase!
