During the school year, we house students. During the summer, we house Summer Citizens. Summer Citizens are people who live in warmer areas (i.e. Arizona or Florida) who want to get away from their deathly hot summers and enjoy a cooler climate. You know, kind of like Snow Birds who move to warm places during the winter. Makes sense, right?
Well the day has come. Our Summer Citizens started moving in this morning. Only 7 of 19 couples came today which surprised me but I suppose the miserable weather scared the others away until tomorrow or later. We still have 10+ feet of snow in the mountains so you can imagine what Logan Valley is like. We are wet, wet, WET! And the rain doesn't look like it's going to let up on us any time soon.
Utah's always pray for rain. It seems as if every prayer that's been offered for the past 25 years is finally being answered....
No kidding! Where are we, Seattle?
