Trip Home Part 2: My day

Since my sister-in-law Breanna and I both had birthdays in February, Betty (Tyson's step-mom) decided to give us a girls day at her spa!!  (She owns Merle Norman in Vernal-next to Maurices.

We got massages, facials, and pedicures.  I'd never had a massage or a facial before, and the pedicure I'd had before didn't compare to the pedicure they gave, so it's safe to say I'd never had a pedicure before either.  All of it was glorious!!! (Except maybe the neck/shoulder massage....the masseuse called my knots "baby knots".  Carrying a kid sure takes it's toll....ouch!!)  Overall though, it was relaxing and so peaceful.  The facial was especially awesome.  After all was done and Breanna and I were just sitting, waiting for our toes to dry, I looked at her and said, "maybe we need to become girly-girls".  Ha ha!  It was a whole new world.  Loved it!  Every girl needs to be pampered once in a while!

The foot/heel scrubber they used was incredible.  I've tried many different types/shapes/brands but nothing I've ever tried got my feet as soft and smooth as theirs did!  The brand is Microplane. I bought one before I left =0)  I also bought two O.P.I. nail polishes- -colors "You Don't Know Jacques" and "Bubble Bath".  Love them!  Happy Birthday to me!
