Latest & Greatest

Wow, oh wow, oh wow.

Things are busy around here.  Thanks (but no thanks) to the recent snow storms, I've spent too much time clearing stairs and walkways.  It's good exercise, I suppose, and I don't mind shoveling snow so much as I mind the inconvenience of shoveling 3x a day.  But ya gotta do what ya gotta do.  Thankfully, Brandon and Breanna are great helps!  Tyson has another month on crutches but he's getting better everyday.  He put his own socks on this morning =0)  He started physical therapy last week and they've given him exercises to do at home in between appointments so recovery will come slowly but surely.  I feel spoiled to have him home with me.  Teryn still doesn't understand why daddy can't carry him and that's frustrating for him, but he's happy to have dad home too.

In other Teryn news, 2 more bottom teeth have grown in and it looks like there are 2 more top teeth following shortly.  He's learned he can bite and likes to chomp on our knees and shoulders.  He's also finally taken notice to my jewelry so I have to be careful what I wear.  He's figured out how to wave "bye bye"!  It's more like a karate chop, so we didn't really recognize what he was doing at first, but we soon realized he does it every time I pick him up to take him outside or to his bed- -it's his latest cutest thing.  He also knows he doesn't need his binky or his teddy bear when he leaves his crib, so after he wakes up, I pick him up and he turns and drops his teddy back in his crib and pops his binky out and drops it too.  He is the most impatient baby on earth and stubborn to boot.  Holy cow, I'm not even going to get into that subject.  We are learning very quickly that we can't give him an inch or he thinks he's a ruler.  He is such a joy and we love him to pieces!!  His 1st birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks- -we can't believe it!!
