Name that movie............*drum roll*...........
It was a good week, albeit less than action-packed.
Tuesday, the 18th, Teryn discovered the bathroom. More specifically, the toilet. He doesn't have to wait until bath time to splash til' his heart's content anymore! Oh, his excitement! In fact, he must have reached the checkpoint of "I want to get into EVERYTHING" this week. I now understand the motherly feeling of, "I can't keep the house clean for 5 minutes!!!".
Teryn the Terror is his name, disaster is his game.
Teryn the Terror is his name, disaster is his game.
We've learned to close the lid.
"mmm.....these mints are goooooood........"
See the recycling bin in the background? He loves it.
Raiding the refrigerator.
He hasn't ripped the dishes out yet, but I don't think it will be long.
Sneaking in the bathroom while dad is showering. He got his shower too!
Who needs a shoe shelf anyway?
Here's to another week of disaster. I'll take it, if it means another week with my kid.
(Did you guess the movie? A Bug's Life!! "They come, they eat, they leave. It's our lot in life! It's not a lot, but it's our life! ah ha ha.")
So cute. He's starting his destructiveness. Ah, and it never ends. All i can say is, GOOD LUCK! haha. No really. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness Dalyn has been in destructo mode also, dumping cups of ice on the floor, pouring a whole thing of creamer on the floor, giving MaCee a bag of chips, putting handfuls of conditioner in his hair, and everytime I catch him he says "Sorry mom" yeah right hes not sorry at all hes a little MONSTER, and I fear MaCee is going to be his partner in crime!!!
ReplyDeleteMy kids don't really get into things and tear them out anymore....this last week I have just been going crazy with the clutter so I have pretty much thrown like have of my house away or sent it to the DI!!! Feels so good to be organized. And yes I guessed Bugs Life Hadley makes us watch that movie every single day!!!
ReplyDeleteHe is just too cute! I love it :)
ReplyDeleteHe is getting soooo big!! Such a cutie! I love that stage as destructive as it is!! I remember one time I had Jake completely ready for church and I went into the bathroom to finish getting ready.. few minutes later I came back in to leave and Jake was on the kitchen counter and had dish soap all over the counter and himself and said he was cleaning.. or the time he put the fork in the microwave that started on fire.. or.. ha ha.. i've got lots of them! but it's crazy you miss them so ENJOY!!! Give him a big kiss!
